NINE LITTLE PAGES. A WHOLE NEW WORLD.
Three little notes lead a curious astronaut to a new friend who needs a helping hand.

Atlas liked collecting the quiet sounds of space from his little moon station. He sat beside the window, listening to his receiver hum while Earth shone blue above the hills.

One morning, three soft notes chimed from the receiver, then faded into a crackle. Atlas put on his space suit and followed the little tune across the silvery plain.

Beside a shallow crater, he discovered a small yellow rover with one wheel nestled in moon dust. Its round antenna blinked as it played the same three hopeful notes.

Atlas brushed the dust aside, and the rover rolled free with a cheerful beep. It projected a small picture of a charging shelter beyond the hill, then pointed its antenna toward home.

At the foot of the hill, the rover tried to send its tune again. The tall ridge blocked the signal, and the picture of its shelter flickered away.

Atlas sat beside the rover and studied the smooth slope. He held his receiver higher, and one clear note rang out above the crackle.

Together they followed a gentle path to the top of the ridge. Atlas raised his receiver toward the shelter and relayed all three notes, bright and clear.

A warm light blinked on above the shelter, answering the rover's tune. Atlas walked beside his new friend as it rolled down the open path and into its cozy charging nook.

Back at his station, Atlas placed the receiver beside the window. Across the moon, three familiar notes wished him good night, and he sent three happy notes in reply.
